So... Thanks once again to Mon at Holistic Mama for this inspiring idea. One day I will have my own ideas again - after I wrestled back some 'free' time.
A thought...
What was I doing? This month has been one of dazed confusion. Between the sheer amount of appointment, visits and work things that MUST BE DONE I have been running at full tilt. Add to that the joy of pregnancy brain and I often found myself sitting or standing somewhere wondering what I was doing in that vague way you get when you are pretty sure you were just doing something but can't quite remember what... or why.
A sound...
The doorbell at work. This month I heard it for the last time as its servitor. Am I glad? Yes. Am I still hearing it in my sleep? Hell, yes. Sigh.
A taste...

An image...
My local hospital... Seen this place waaaay to much this month thanks to
Pregnancy Appointments.
A scent...
Fresh green grass. Spring has definitely arrived. This makes for a happy Kitty.
A word... (anything word related)
Blog.. as in I really must write on my blog! I showed willing if not the ability to actually do it.
A touch...
100% Cotton fabric. I spent a whole day quilting in order to relax a bit. The feel of cotton under your fingers while your work just growing is amazing.
A gift for me...
Taking two whole days to myself to recharge my batteries. My lovely hubby pampered me and I felt wonderful afterwards. I love that guy!
A post you may have missed...
Um.... Other than a couple of Joy Pockets posts there werent any. Im a terrible blogger.
This month has seen the end of my work contract and the start of my Maternity Leave. That my job was being ended wasnt a huge shock, I had seen it coming for months. Thankfully, being pregnant at just the right time has given me some breathing room. I will miss the work and some of the people but I will keep volunteering with the Pagan Federation so I wont be going mouldy in the corner any time soon.
I am taking this change as an opportunity to rediscover a balance in my life that was starting to slip. I haven't been writing or crafting very much and I have felt that lack very keenly. Now I have some time to myself before one of the greatest adventures a Kitty can have gets underway. Here goes Project Parenthood!
